You May Not Be Ready to Hire a Virtual Assistant

You may be hearing, ‘You need to hire a VA’ from your business coach/mentor. I’ve seen it before. You feel a push to do so. That it’s an outward sign your business is doing well.

Do you know what a Virtual Assistant can, well, assist you with? Are there immediate signs that certain procedures, obligations and tasks are not being handled or are taking you away from your priority work? And are you ready to relinquish control of some of the aspects of your business?

Now, don’t get me wrong. You don’t need to come to our Needs Assessment with a perfectly organized list of tasks ready to hand over. Part of our conversation may be where support would make sense for you. However, there should be something prompting the conversation. Maybe you’re spending too much time on admin work, marketing, tech etc. and not enough time on the parts of the business you love and that are in your ‘zone of genius’.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before we talk. You do need to know that something needs to change and be open to having someone support you with it. As we work together, I may also be able to suggest other areas I can support you.
