What Is A Virtual Assistant?
A Virtual Assistant is a self-employed freelancer who specializes in offering administrative, technical, or creative assistance remotely.
Who Is Virtual Assistance For?
You’re awesome – but you’re not a superhero. If you want to expand your business, it is helpful to let a VA handle your essential but non-priority work, and you can focus on what matters and stop the overwhelm.
What is The Process Like?
We first meet for a Needs Assessment call. Are we a good fit?
Then, depending on what services you require, we outline a game plan and I come up with a fee system or package.
When you decide to go ahead, we create a service agreement and plan a strategy session.
1. How do you handle passwords to access my accounts?
This is specified in the service agreement, if applicable. Every attempt will be made on my part to keep your passwords secure by storing them in a secure password program (LastPass). You share access to the passwords and can revoke shared access at any time. You, as the client, ensure the use of strong passwords. Upon termination of our agreement, I delete all shared information from LastPass.
2. Why do I need a Service Agreement?
As with any working relationship, it is best to clearly outline roles and responsibilities to avoid misunderstandings. I offer a professional service, which a service agreement protects you and me.
3. What are the benefits of outsourcing?
When you outsource your administrative support, it saves money for you. Since I am not an employee, you are not responsible for paying employee taxes, benefits, or insurance. As this is a remote service, you do not need to find office space or provide equipment.
4. But can't I just do it myself?
In some cases, you could. However, does it make sense to spend your valuable time (and time is money) doing the tasks that you don’t want to do, taking time away from your clients or your time for self care, time you could be spending with friends and family?
5. I have a hard time letting go.
I understand. Your business is your baby. You formed it and you need to know that it will be handled with the same care that you take with it. Only you know if you’re ready….but I truly care about my clients and ensuring that anything I do meets with their approval and reflects their personality.
